John P. Robertson

John P. Robertson has represented clients throughout Northern New Jersey for nearly four decades, opening the Law Office of John P. Robertson LLC on May 1, 2026. He began his legal career in 1986 as an assistant prosecutor with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office before moving into private criminal defense practice, where he has since handled matters ranging from municipal violations to serious indictable offenses, DWI/DUI defense, juvenile delinquency cases, and expungements.
A past president of both the Morris County Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Foundation, John has also served on the New Jersey Supreme Court's Municipal Court Practice Committee and has been recognized for his pro bono representation of domestic violence victims. He holds a J.D. from Penn State's Dickinson School of Law and a B.A. in English Literature, cum laude, from Bucknell University.
